Senate Banking Committee ranking Senator Pat Toomey says at a hearing with Treasury Secretary and Federal Reserve Chairman that the Federal Reserve should have started tapering bond buying a year earlier but we continue into the following year, interest rates currently near zero as the Fed took a wait-and-see approach but the Biden administration in many Democrats were not willing to limit inflation but instead exacerbate the problem and blame inflation on the usual suspects of greedy corporations, apparently some believing companies were for years generously leaving money on the table only to raise prices to maximize profits, a cynical fib meant to distract from the fact that Democrats' liberal policies were contributing to price hikes hitting American wallets.
