- [re decision to send Katie Dolatowski (transgender woman / convicted sex offender) to women's prison] prison service has system of risk assessment in place/ these are operation decisions taken by the Scottish Prison Service/
- overwhelming majority of trans community commit no crimes
- not going to comment on decisions taken in the past by Prison Service/ we've seen a heightened degree of public concern around these issues
- many of concerns raised about recent reform bill are real concerns and I'm not suggesting opponents of that are by definition badly motivated/
- some people who are anti rights for trans people are probably anti rights for gay people and other minorities as well - that is a fact/ I don't think that's something that can be denied in any real sense
