Rapper Safaree Samuels interrupts Animal Rights Protest - NYC

NEW YORK, NY MAY 15, 2019: Safaree Lloyd Samuels is a Jamaican-American rapper, songwriter and television personality. Rapper Safaree attempted to get into City Hall with his bodyguards to attend the city council hearing proposal on Wednesday May 15, 2019 that according to the NY Times would ban the sale of fur garments and accessories, but it would allow the sale of used fur garments and new apparel using fur from older garments. Violators would be subject to fines of $500 to $1,500, and any money made from selling banned fur would be subject to forfeiture. The bill would not ban wearing fur. Animal rights activists and counter protestors rallied outside City Hall and Broadway. Protesters yelled, Put people first, and counter protesters responded, How many animals have to die?
