MOSCOW, RUSSIA - NOV. 21, 2024: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday (Nov. 21) said his country struck Pivdenmash plant in Ukrainian city of Dnipro with non-nuclear hypersonic ballistic missile, named “Oreshnik.”
“Ukraine war became global in nature after Western missiles were used to strike Russia,” he said in his address to nation.
“Use of Oreshnik medium-range missiles against Ukraine a response to US plans to produce, deploy medium- and shorter-range missiles” he added.
