Kazakhstan: Soyuz 74th Progress Cargo Delivery Ship Launches From Baikonur 2
A Russian government Soyuz rocket launched the 74th Progress cargo delivery ship to the International Space Station from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Friday, December 6. Soyuz is carrying 2.7 tons of food, propellant and other supplies toward the orbiting lab. The liftoff came less than 24 hours after SpaceX's Dragon capsule began its own journey to the ISS as part of the CRS-19 resupply mission. Dragon is scheduled to arrive at the space station Sunday, December 8 morning, and the Soyuz Progress (Progress 74) will follow suit on Monday, December 9. 28 sec video .
