A representative of Westonbirt Arboretum warns of the dangers of storm-damaged trees, saying, 'Yes, the great danger is that big branches very often get hooked up in the tree and people don't realise they're there [is this] great tonnes of wood that are hanging up by a thread, which could fall at any time. So really the public should perhaps keep away from big trees, anything that's obviously damaged, for a little while, until we get it all sorted out.' Gloucestershire, UK; 1981.
