A rare Canadian lynx was spotted in a backyard in Jericho, Vermont, on July 20. This video shows the animal in Mike Kessler's backyard. Kessler, a wildlife tracking expert, told http://www.wcax.com/content/news/Rare-sighting-of-a-Canadian-cat-in-Vermont-caught-on-camera-489377151.html WCAX , "these cats are occasionally seen in the Northeast Kingdom but rarely in the Champlain Valley, so it caught him very off guard."
