Iconic film and music memorabilia to be auctioned in London

LONDON, UK-NOV.7: Propstore, the acclaimed London-based auction house, is set to ignite excitement with its four-day auction starting on Nov. 14. This event will feature an extensive array of iconic movie costumes, props, and music memorabilia, showcasing over 1,800 items from more than 500 films and TV shows, as well as notable pieces from concerts and music videos, all available to collectors and fans across the globe. One of the star attractions is a Stormtrooper helmet from the 1977 classic "Star Wars: A New Hope." According to Propstore CEO Stephen Lane, this helmet was worn by one of the six Sandtroopers in the film. It is anticipated to fetch between £250,000 and £500,000, with its authenticity confirmed through meticulous scene comparisons. The auction will also spotlight items from legendary Hollywood films. Highlights include Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin costume from the 2002 "Spider-Man," a ghost face mask from the 1996 horror classic "Scream," and a Chucky doll from the "Child’s Play" series. Also notable is a grey suit worn by James Bond in "Skyfall" during the iconic motorcycle chase, valued at £20,000 to £40,000. Additionally, fans will find a helmet worn by Russell Crowe's Maximus in "Gladiator," expected to secure between £100,000 and £200,000.
