Dyche proud as Burnley go down fighting
Press conference with Burnley manager Sean Dyche following the 1-1 draw with Olympiacos which saw them miss out on a place in the Europa League.
He says he is very proud of his team and thought they deserved to qualify, talks about the debut of Dwight McNeil - saying he grew stronger after a shaky first few minutes, reflects on the club’s Europa League campaign and what he’s learnt, says he found the European referees ‘interesting’ - saying a lot of things happened in Athens which wouldn’t stand over here, talks about Matej Vydra scoring on his Home debut, says that the club were always focussed on the Premier League and Europe equally so being out of the Europa League now doesn’t change anything and says the crowd were excellent in supporting g the team despite their elimination.
