President Donald Trump says at an outdoor campaign rally at Bemidji Regional Airport hours after the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was announced that he had said he would put Ted Cruz up as a person for the Supreme Court, wanted to make sure that people on a list of about 45 unbelievable people were the smartest and best, absolute crème de la crème, to have somebody who could get approved and he could only think of Ted because he would get 50 Republican votes and 50 Democrat votes for doing anything they could to get him out of the Senate, to laughter, Ted was the only man who could get 100 votes from the Senate and every single Senator would vote for him, Cruz a brilliant guy who had been great.
