Funeral ceremony held for Oscar-award winning composer Kaczmarek in Krakow, Poland
KRAKOW, POLAND - MAY 25, 2024: Polish composer Jan Andrzej Pawel Kaczmarek, renowned for his Oscar-winning score for the film "Finding Neverland," has passed away at the age of 71 due to multiple system atrophy.
A state funeral was held in Krakow, Poland, on Saturday (May 25) attended by numerous admirers alongside his close family and friends.
Kaczmarek, a distinguished figure in the world of music, composed scores for over 70 feature films and documentaries.
His work on "Finding Neverland" earned him an Academy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award.
