New York Street Buskers Pinc Louds Help Bring Back Live Music In New York City
NEW YORK, NY - JUNE 10: (PART 1) Pinc Louds performs a Patti Smith cover of Gloria on June 10, 2021 in New York City. Pinc Louds is an imaginary NYC band fronted by Puerto Rican Busker Claudi. They're called 'the band who saved summer' when musical venues closed Pinc Louds took it to the streets. They were kicked out of Tompkins Square Park where they'd played for years because the police won't allow amplified music. So La Plaza Cultural Community Garden in the lower east side took them in.
