Congresswoman Houlahan says House GOP seeks to erase the memory of officers who fought on January 6
Pennsylvania Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan says at a news conference on House Republicans not having posted a plaque honoring law enforcement officers who protected the Capitol during the January 6 insurrection under law that law and order was not a partisan issue but an American issue, and if people genuinely believed in law and order, then the police who gave everything on January 6th in defense of the building should be honored in every way possible, including following the law that required the commemorative plaque, because history was being unified against what actually happened.
