Congressman Reschenthaler says border enforcement best way to stop migrant deaths

Pennsylvania Congressman Guy Reschenthaler says in debate on the Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains Act that he was concerned about burdens of the bill on Customs and Border Patrol, under the bill CBP charged with documenting information about individuals who died at the border, preferring the reports would be used by open border advocates to malign the men and women of US Border Patrol and advocates were inevitably deciding to play politics and would argue CBP was not doing enough to mitigate migrant deaths, in reality to prevent future deaths at the border it needed to be clear that no one should embark on the dangerous journey because illegal entry was simply not an option, instead to fix the broken immigration system which incentivized people to cross the border illegally, strong border enforcement and interior enforcement the best way to stop loss of life.
