Germany: Trump 'IT' Clown Float Appears At German Karneval Rosenmontag
A parade float featuring US president Trump dressed as Pennywise, the main character of the iconic movie It, scaring Greta Thunberg, graced this year's Rosenmontag, February 24. As in previous years, local and international political themes dominated the event such as the elections in Thuringia, the Hanau hate crime incident, coronavirus, and Brexit. Rosenmontag, or Rose Monday, takes place on the Monday before Ash Wednesday. It is the highlight of the German Karneval being celebrated all over the country. 16 sec video (looped 2x) . Video Location: Cologne, Germany. (Footage by Katze / @winzigerkaffee/Spectee via Getty Images UGC)
