Oregon Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici says in floor remarks that the only partisan bias comes from the Trump Administration as they seek to weaponize public broadcasting which offers many benefits including teaching children reading and social emotional development skills and reaching areas that lack reliable broadband access, arguing that the loss of PBS Kids would deprive millions of children of formative learning experiences while the 1.1 billion dollar cost represents only 0.001% of the federal budget at one dollar sixty cents per person annually.
