Jordyn Wieber Senate testimony on Nassar abuse, accountability
2012 Olympic Gold medal winning gymnast Jordyn Wieber tells members of a Senate subcommittee that the pain of athletes are all the same and all their stories are important, the people and responsible organizations need to accept responsibility for the pain that caused her and sister survivors, like Larry Nassar who would never see the outside of a prison cell again. Wieber says USA Gymnastics, the US Olympic Committee and Michigan State University must be held accountable, and no one should ever have to endure the physical emotional or sexual abuse for the privilege of representing their country as athletes nor deserve to live in fear or be unprotected as she was.
