Michigan Congressman Fred Upton supports the funding bill, reminding members that the bill contains funding for the recently passed 21st Century Cures Act and relief for families in Flint, Michigan and elsewhere around the country. New York Congressman Jose Serrano expresses his displeasure at the bill for not reimbursing the City of New York for protecting President-elect Donald Trump, providing $7 million instead of a City request for $35 million.
