PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA - MAR. 8: North Korea urged its countrymen to serve for the leadership under Kim Jong　Un in an event held here on the occasion of International Women's Day, Sunday March 8. At a meeting to report policy developments, Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the ruling Korean Workers' Party addressed and asked to show loyalty for Kim. "There are only victory and glory ahead of Korean people and women who march headed by the First Secretary as the leader of the party and the revolution," Choe stressed. Meanwhile, North Koreans flocked to local cosmetics shops to buy goods for mother and wife. A 37-year old man came to look for a present for his mother. "I will also take mother to a restaurant with my family to please her," he said. The International Women's Day is designated as a public holiday in this communist country.
