Senator Cramer suggests Defense Department hesitant to exercise acquisition out of fear for lawmakers, entrepreneurial spirit needed as GOLDEN DOME Act introduced
North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer says at a news conference to introduce the GOLDEN DOME Act that one reason the Pentagon had not used acquisition authorities they have was because they were afraid of Congress for good reason since Congress had a history of playing gotcha with everyone who makes mistakes, noting they need to be opposite and say try things take calculated risks while moving at faster pace requiring more entrepreneurial spirit with open architecture and primes working with new marketplace entrance and Department of Defense governance.
