Congressman Murphy says federal marijuana decriminalization bill goes too far without limit

North Carolina Congressman Greg Murphy says in debate opposing the MORE Act to decriminalize and tax marijuana that he had been to the southern border and personally observed smuggling operations the legislation might allow, legalizing weed would create revenue from taxes but at what cost before Congress was start legalizing cocaine, marijuana a gateway drug with no mistake about it, undoubtedly leading to further and much more dangerous drug use, so while he did believe medical marijuana had some impact on chronic pain in those with cancer the bill simply went too far.
