Normal heartbeat rythmn, animation - HD stock video
Animation of the human heart showing its normal electrical and contraction cycle. The heart's natural pacemaker is the sinoatrial node, at the top right of the heart here. It generates a signal (yellow) that travels to the atrioventricular node to stimulate contraction of the right and left atria, then down through the central septum to cause contraction of the right and left ventricles. The right and left ventricles pump blood to the lungs and the body respectively. Compare this normal process with atrial fibrillation, in clip K009/5688
