Congresswoman Tenney praises return of snapback sanctions by Trump on Iran

New York Congresswoman Claudia Tenney says at a news conference with Republican Study Committee colleagues on their effort to codify Trump Administration policy towards Iran that invoking snapback sanctions would restore the UN sanctions on Iran that were lifted by the Obama administration's failed Iran nuclear deal, including export controls, travel bans, asset freezes and other restrictions on those involved in Iranian nuclear and missile activities, and the bicameral and bipartisan bill sent a strong message that nuclear expansion by the Iranian regime must stop, while applauding the president and emphasizing the importance of getting partners across the world to recognize the great danger of Iran having a nuclear weapon.
