Congressman Zeldin says Ambassador Volker unaware Ukraine aid withheld

New York Congressman Lee Zeldin tells reporters after US Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland was directed not to appear for an interview related to an impeachment inquiry authorized by the Speaker that there was an argument for only telling the American public was in the interest of taking down a president but rather to ask what was said inside a deposition with Ambassador Kurt Volker a week earlier, with regards to a fairytale quid pro quo charge that aid from the United States to Ukraine was linked to an investigation into Bidens, sarcastically adding he is glad wife reporters were asking what Volker said during several hours in the room talking about how Volodymyr Zelensky had no idea there was a hold on aid and that readouts of a phone call between Zelensky and President Donald Trump had nothing about a hold on aid or quid pro quo.
