Senator Udall says native populations disproportionately impacted by climate change
New Mexico Senator Tom Udall says during a discussion of climate change that no American is immune from its threats and many of the most underrepresented and vulnerable communities are at greatest risk, for example the most recent National Climate Assessment finding that tribes and indigenous people are impacted disproportionately, their way of life intimately tied to land and water, natural resources depended on for hundreds of thousands of years being disrupted in ways that up and their communities, their subsistence, cultural practices and sacred sites all threatened.
