Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse says in first floor speech after Russia invaded Ukraine that Snake Island was incomprehensible to a man like Vladimir Putin who did not understand human dignity, courage or principle, he too small to understand why people would fight for freedom against a roller to return Russia to tyranny, fight to take away the freedom of his people, liberty and freedom of those on Russia's borders, he not wanting any of his near neighbors to know freedom, he thinking tyranny was the order of things but was wrong, the reason Americans had rallied to the Ukrainian cause was fully understanding the spirit of Snake Island, not known geographically but the heart of the people who want to echo their motto.
