Justice Department IG testifies FBI cut off Steele after Mother Jones disclosure
Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse says at a hearing with Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz about his report on how the FBI Crossfire Hurricane investigation began that DOJ official Bruce Ohr ultimately decided to get extra information out of Christopher Steele or employer Fusion GPS had been cut off, asking why the FBI decided to no longer listen to him, Horowitz answering they were closed in November 2016 after the FBI learned of his disclosure to Mother Jones magazine that he had been working with the FBI previously.
