US Sees Uptick In New Coronavirus Cases
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - SEPTEMBER 28: (L-R) Murals by artists Eric Vozzola, Mary Felker, Izaac Zevalking, aka Recycled Propaganda, Mila May and Jerry Misko are displayed on a wall in the downtown Arts District on September 28, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. British artist Zevalking's artwork "Savage Journey," bearing the phrase "Fear of COViD in LAS VEGAS," is inspired by the "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" film adapted from Hunter S. Thompson's novel. Nevada is nearing 80,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases. In recent weeks, the state has seen an uptick in the number of coronavirus-related deaths due to death reporting delays and a significant decline in COVID-19 hospital patients.
