A mother in Las Vegas, Nevada played a memorable Thanksgiving prank on her three kids by shoving a Cornish hen inside a raw turkey to give the illusion that it was pregnant. Footage recorded by Jennifer Shoemaker in 2020 https://www.tiktok.com/@mrsshoemaker/video/7168851277173017899 shows her kids gathering around the turkey as Shoemaker questions what she sees while looking into the bird's cavity. "I pretended to not understand what I was seeing while starting to pull the game hen out of the turkey slowly," Shoemaker told Storyful. "The kids freaked out, thinking this was the turkey's baby. My middle child took off out of fear, my oldest son questioned it and my youngest daughter screamed at the top of her lungs for some reason." Shoemaker said she later explained to her kids that it was a prank and the turkey was not pregnant. "We all laughed afterwards and it's become a beloved video and memory in our family," she said.
