Senator Sheehy opposes Duckworth amendment to third FY25 continued appropriations bill for using veterans as pawns

Montana Senator Tim Sheehy says in debate on an amendment to a bill to fund the Federal government through the last six months of fiscal year 2025 that Democrats showed no outrage when 8,000 active duty and reserve troops lost their military positions without due process or benefits, nor when thousands of first responders, police officers, firefighters, nurses, and doctors lost employment due to COVID vaccine hesitancy under President Biden, and defended the current bill as pro-veteran because it added six billion dollars to veterans spending and included the largest pay increase for warfighters in a generation, which warranted stopping the use of veterans as political pawns and funding the government.
