A "monster" shelf cloud spread over part of Kentucky's Pike County on July 6 as a thunderstorm moved into the area. Storm chaser Billy Bowling uploaded this video to Twitter with the caption, "Pike County Airport, MONSTER incoming." He further tweeted a https://twitter.com/babowling12/status/1545030816681656321 picture where he referred to the cloud as a "rotating mammoth" and stated that this was a rare sight in Appalachia.
