INTERVIEW - Michael B. Jordan on how he went to prepare for his first leading role in this film. He did his research and visited the BAY. On his first encounter with Oscars family- 4 years later, it was difficult for him to talk about Oscar at first. On people being a fan of his show The Wirewhich gave him the g-pass and allowed Oscar’s family to talk about the tragedy and who Oscarreally was. On trust being a big part of him understanding his characters which was his passin letting people talk about Oscar especially his mother. On what advice he was given by Oscarwinner Octavia and Forest- that was to Listen and try to never replicate anyone and that ultimatelychanged his approach in developing his character.
