El Hallazgo bookshop, where literature comes alive

Mexico City, 6 Mar (EFE), (Camera. Andres Marquez).- The owner of the Mexico City bookshop El Hallazgo, Max Ramos, once found a cat in a box of second hand books. Ramos called him Ex Libris and the feline became the store's mascot as well as the custodian of faded anonymous photographs, love letters aged with time, airline tickets and postcards from Europe; all objects from the past left behind in books by their owners.
