Meredith Kercher murder: General views of house / Kercher family press conference; Stephanie Kercher (sister of Meredith) press conference SOT - its so easy to understand why Meredith chose this beautiful city / she loved everything about Italy but fact she chose Perugia over other cities shows how important her year abroad was for her / Perugia is definitely a city of culture, a place to get to know the people and the land / we only wish she'd had more time before being brutally taken from us / maybe she'd have been keen to learn in our country if it was as famous for its chocolates as Perugia / Mez (phon) was such a significant part of so many lives due to her caring and loving nature and laughter / we are all struggling to understand why she was so cruelly taken from us and imagine how things would be if she were still here / Meredith was such a genuine person that when you think of her now and when you see her friends you don't need to say anything you only need to smile, this is why she will never be forgotten / we are here today for preliminary hearing which, almost a year on from the loss of Mez, begins tomorrow / we are pleased we have reached a new phase in the process, hoping that justice will soon be done for Meredith
