Mass Rally Held In Pyongyang To Hail Leader
PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA - JAN. 6: A mass rally was held in Pyongyang on January 6 to hail the national leader Kim Jong Un. The rally was
aimed to demonstrate policies laid out in Kim's new year address, which called for the improvement of peoples' life and pursuit of dialogue with South Korea. Participants carried placards saying "70th anniversary of liberation of mother country," or "construction of socialist civilized nation." Assembly leader Kim Yong Nam and Choe Ryong Hae, a secretary of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea and other senior aides of Kim Jong Un also joined the gathering.
