The company says it could be at the break-even point by June. Pandemic weary Americans are eager to travel again, and Southwest is flying high heading into the summer travel season. But analysts warn a similar trend last year stalled when the pandemic intensified. But what’s different this time, is vaccines that prevent serious COVID-19 illness. Airline analysts say once the vaccine rollout started, they immediately saw a growth in air travel.
