Daniel Bondi was walking through the market with a friend when he heard a commotion nearby and went to see what was going on. Bondi encountered a man, wearing a disc around his waist made of made of unknown material, attempting to fit between two counters that were apparently too close together for him to pass through them. The man told Bondi that he created the contraption to keep a safe distance from others and avoid contracting coronavirus. The video shows the man standing in the market, with other people taking photos of him as the disc hangs from thick straps around his shoulders. Movement across Italy has been restricted to emergency medical or professional needs.
