Madrid, 9 feb (EFE).- Although Spanish Javier Mariscal is known for designing Cobi, the official mascot of the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, the work of this artist that turns 62, includes painting, sculpture, interior design and landscaping. One of his latest experiments was as cartoonist and co- director of 'Chico y Rita', with Spanish Oscar-winning director Fernando Trueba. A love story that honours Cuban music and culture and is nominated for Best Animated Feature Film for the 84th Academy Awards.
