'Tennis-Ball-Sized' Hail Batters Homes in Fort Smith, Arkansas
Large hail stones were seen battering a home in Fort Smith, Arkansas, as https://twitter.com/NWStulsa/status/1647341053912186880 severe thunderstorms moved into the state's west on Saturday, April 15. Video recorded by Dena Harrison's children show the hail stones bouncing off of the roof of their home and backyard trampoline. Harrison told Storyful the hail was "tennis-ball-sized" and left damage across their neighborhood. The National Weather Service https://twitter.com/NWStulsa/status/1647341053912186880 warned that the hail up to 2-inches in diameter was possible and urged residents in southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas to seek shelter.
