A large dust devil swirled in Fort Smith, in northwest Arkansas, on Monday, September 19. Fort Smith resident Brandon M Foss recorded this footage showing the dust devil swirling at a construction site, according to https://twitter.com/standridgewx/status/1572682301246689280 local media . According to the https://www.weather.gov/fgz/DustDevil National Weather Service , dust devils are created by "strong surface heating" and are generally smaller and less intense than a tornado.
