Dust Devil Swirls Outside Texas McDonald's
A large dust devil swept dust and debris across the street outside a McDonald's in Boerne, Texas, on Monday, September 12. San Antonio resident Valerie Cervantes recorded this footage showing the dust devil swirling across Old Fredericksburg Road, with a McDonald's sign visible nearby. Speaking to Storyful, Cervantes said: "I thought it would dissipate but it just turned into a wider tunnel of debris." According to the https://www.weather.gov/fgz/DustDevil National Weather Service, dust devils are created by "strong surface heating" and are generally smaller and less intense than a tornado.
