Texas Congressmen support hurricane Harvey relief
Laredo area Congressman Henry Cuellar calls an emergency funding bill. A down payment for relief in an area where rain usually measured in inches fell in feet. Cuellar graphically describes the priceless losses of family pictures, whereas heroes stepped up to open their homes, churches and businesses to assist evacuees, that members of Congress stand together to speak in one word in support of Houston, East Texas and Louisiana. Jody Arrington urges support for the bill after the unprecedented natural disaster, proud of the overwhelming, loving response of Texans helping out each other, noting support from constituents of his Texas district.
