Joseph Mankiewicz critics
MCU Joseph Mankiewicz, director of the film "Cleopatra," discusses his feelings toward movie critics--both positive and negative. SOT But on the whole, I'm extremely pleased with the reviews. I think that on the whole, also, there have been a great deal of fans: Shawn Elizabeth, particularly, and Richard--Rex was brilliant. I think they were exceedingly good, both of them. I think that in the case of Richard and Elizabeth, what, to me, some of the critics have done to me is an unforgivable sin, as far as the critic is concerned, which is to confuse the personal antics--the personal life of the artist--with his work.
