Janet Jackson reunited with doctor who delivered her son
Janet Jackson has been reunited with the doctor who delivered her son three years ago.
The pop star was 50 when she welcomed Eissa, her first child, with Qatari businessman ex-husband Wissam Al Mana.
Jackson joined Professor Tiong Ghee Toah at a Great Gatsby-themed Gala at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom in aid of premature birth research at Imperial College London.
The singer posed for photos with the professor wearing a wide-brimmed black hat, matching dress and heels.
The obstetrician and gynaecologist told the PA news agency that he had asked Jackson to play but that she had refused.
Asked if she was planning an impromptu performance, he replied: “No she wont. She said: 'Oh, the stage is too small for me.'"
Singer Louise Redknapp also attended the event. She told the PA news agency she was "really happy" with how her new album, Heavy Love, was received.
