Italian striker Ciro Immobile arrives in Istanbul to become new Besiktas footballer
ISTANBUL, TÃœRKÄ°YE - JULY 13, 2024: Italian footballer Ciro Immobile arrived in Istanbul on Saturday (July 13) as he enters transfer talks with Turkish club Besiktas.
The 34-year-old striker was greeted by nearly a thousand enthusiastic fans at the General Aviation Terminal.
Immobile shared moments of joy with the black-and-white supporters, even joining them in their traditional "Üçlü" chant.
The experienced forward was visibly moved by the warm reception.
Besiktas is expected to finalize the transfer by signing a contract with Immobile following medical examinations scheduled for tomorrow.
