Int’l Hausa Day celebrated in Nigeria
KANO, NIGERIA - AUG. 26: International Hausa Day was marked in the Nigerian state of Kano on Saturday (Aug. 26).
The culture of the Hausa community was introduced at the event, which was held to celebrate the Hausa language.
Around 30 million people on the African continent speak Hausa language.
A large number of Nigerians attended the event in their traditional clothes and performed traditional shows.
