Scandinavian Bonfire

In Denmark there is held a traditional bonfire on the night of the 23th of june every year. This bonfire is traditionally held to scare away witches and trolls. You still see a reminiscence of the older witch-trials, with the witch models on top of the fire, being burned, and supposedly flies away towards the German mountain of Brocken.
