Eric Cantor Regarding Debt And Spending Cuts
MCU Ð In an interview Eric Cantor the 112th Congress Majority Leader speaks about his ideals and ObamaÕs presidency. The republican who represents VirginiaÕs 7th district speaks about his beliefs and what America is going to do with the debt crisis. He comments on his fiscal responsibility to help our economy. He says, "Well it is very hard I think to first of all sit here and say yes we're gonna increase the credit limit of the country when we've got over 12 trillion dollars in debt right now. But I think all of us believe that America pays it's bills just like every family and business is expected to. We look at this as a situation where if we can come together and rally around transit dollars and spending cuts as well as reforms to the system then we can go forward and begin to get the fiscal house in order."
