Author Writes About Interracial Marriage
MCU Ð In an interview author Diane Farr speaks about the beginning of her relationship with her current husband. Her husband, a Korean man was told to grow up and marry a Korean girl which he did not do. Farr wrote a book called "Kissing Outside the Lines: A True Story of Love and Race and Happily Ever After." The story speaks about interracial marriage and Diane is now happy to say her husbandÕs family is now proud of the fact she is part of their family. Farr speaks about wanting and needing advice when her relationship was becoming more serious. She says, "I didn't want to tell my closest this little dirty secret that might be a problem in my relationship so I started with a wide net and it was so common that I thought this was the last prejudice that we really aren't talking about yet because it happened at home and nobody want to a shame their parents."
