Jones Family Lawyer re: Ferris Wheel Restraints
MCU In an interview Attorney Paul D'Amato speak out about the death of 11 year old Abiah Jones who fell to her death on June 3rd while on a class field trip. Pleasant Tech Academy Charter School, the school Abiah attended had taken her and other classmates on a field trip to celebrate good behavior and exemplary grades. Abiah was on the Ferris Wheel at Mariner's Landing when she unexpectedly fell out of the gondola where she had been sitting alone. Her parents are questioning the safety of rides without seat belts and also want to know why their 11 year old daughter was alone. D'Amato says, "The key has to be restraints, lap bars something that will keep everybody in, including adults. Just having another person in the gondola will not be enough."
